Purpose
To perform advanced professional technical and analytical functions in a variety of financial areas including financing, financial modeling, debt management, cash management, and planning and analysis to ensure the District's financing requirements are met and financial assets are managed to maximize benefits to the District within legal and established District policy constraints.

Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of:
- Concepts and terminology related to economics, finance and accounting
- Industry practices related to investments, debt instruments, or cash management
- Principles of various analytical approaches including cost benefit and present value analyses
- Techniques used to develop financial projections, analyses and models
Ability to:
- Prepare complex financial analyses, forecasts and models using Excel
- Generate ideas that reduce expenses or risks or generate revenue
- Prepare a business case to weigh the relative costs, risks, and benefits of a potential action
- Structure, analyze and manage complex contracts and transactions
- Work both independently and in a team setting
- Communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in written form

Experience:

Education:

Purpose
OPEN POSTING
To reliably procure, schedule and manage the District’s wholesale energy requirements to serve our customer/owners’. In this context wholesale energy includes: power, gas, hydro, gas and power transmission, gas storage, and ancillary services. This will include optimizing resources by dispatching the generation plants, scheduling water flows and making sales of surplus resources. Minimum Qualifications

Purpose
Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) is seeking a talented individual to join our leadership team as Program Manager, Strategic Local Government, New Business, and Economic Development. Minimum Qualifications
