Description The Secretary to the Employee Benefits Director provides administrative and clerical support to the Employee Benefits Director. The incumbent uses independent judgment and initiative to complete a variety of projects and prioritizes information and requests directed to the Employee Benefits Director. The incumbent ensures smooth departmental operations with the direct oversight of certain universal office needs. The incumbent monitors the operational and capital budgets for the department. The Secretary to the Employee Benefits Director develops and maintains an accurate and complete department filing system of contracts, government forms and other legal documents. The incumbent also maintains electronic document storage and retrieval systems to ensure accurate and timely access to information.
Qualifications A high school education or equivalent is required. Prior work experience and demonstrated proficiency in advanced secretarial support, as would be typically gained with three to five years experience, is required. Knowledge and proficiency at an intermediate level with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) is required. The incumbent must be able to work independently, organizing own tasks and balancing multiple priorities with minimal direction. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information appropriately is required. Must demonstrate positive interpersonal skills and a high degree of professionalism and diplomacy when interacting with internal and external customers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. The incumbent must be able to sit for long periods of time and use the keyboard/mouse for extended periods. Must have the ability to lift 15-20 pounds.

Description: The successful candidate will join the Pricing Service Center of Northrop Grumman Information Systems. In this position the candidate will develop, analyze, evaluate, coordinate, prepare and oversee NORTHROP GRUMMAN Bill of Materials (BOM) in support of cost/price proposals to government and commercial customers. The candidate will provide dedicated operational support of proposal efforts to include review, and evaluate supplier data/pricing received, prepare BOM pricing templates to support proposal specific pricing models, negotiate supplier quotes and recommend/select suppliers.
